Since Russia's first Yasen-class nuclear-powered guided-missile submarine, Severodvinsk, entered service in late 2013, two decades after its construction began, other subs of the class have followed at quicker intervals, and Russian leaders are now considering adding even more of these subs to a fleet that has already impressed and worried NATO commanders with its ability to avoid detection and strike at valuable targets

Do you think I don’t look for information? Never trust completely what you read or watch. Agendas and narratives are being built and told by every side.
I just disagree with you and the sensationalism about this submarine.
All submarines have the ability to avoid detection and strike at valuable targets. Avoid doesn’t mean untraceable. The Russian did not make a giant breakthrough with the Belgorod. It’s a good sub! But evolutionary for their subs, not revolutionary, and their subs are noisy.
I served too many years in the military to fall for the media, regardless of the article or who writes it, because they need fear and shock to get readers interest.
