We cannot solve our own crisis as long as Biden is president. So we must either wait him out, or fail. In the absence of the next election, what do you propose we do? The Republicans barely control the House and do not have the will to challenge the government as it exists.

What do we do?

Also, I don’t think it is likely at all that the Russians will take out Ukraine. How? What will they do that they’ve haven’t already done?

All I see is stalemate, many more deaths, much treasure exhausted. This will go on until Biden is gone. Or should I saw Obama, because that’s who Biden’s handlers are working for.

No, all we can do is revolt now, via armed insurrection—which we’d probably lose, or whole states refusing (which I think would buy some time) or wait for Trump.

Please enlighten me if you’ve come up with another way.

We agree 100%. The question is, how long will he be there? My guess, and it simply is a guess, is at least until 1/20/25. That's quite a long time for more damage or a crisis to occur.

So we must either wait him out, or fail.

Very true. OR FAIL!

Also, I don’t think it is likely at all that the Russians will take out Ukraine. How? What will they do that they’ve haven’t already done?

This is likely where we disagree. I do somewhat agree with the second part of your statement. But, keep this in mind: the Russians moved in and, in less than six months, claimed/annexed the Russian-speaking territory. They control 20% or so of the country and have from almost the beginning.

Russia never claimed they wanted to take the country of Ukraine. They stated they had very simple objectives: demilitarization, denazification, and liberation of Russian-speaking regions.

Regardless of what you see and hear from our government and media, the Russians are smart people. They have made progress in achieving their stated goals (not the goals attributed to them by others). In addition, they put up the first orbital satellite; they have advanced war machines and the means to produce them. Heck, we even paid them to send our astronauts into space when we could not do it. They have the most nuke warheads and the means to deliver them.

So, in my opinion, they have accomplished many good things for themselves -- especially since 1990 (after a rough start). Did they go off the rails in the early part of the last century? They sure did. They don't have a monopoly on those types of mistakes, though. Many countries do the same, including our own.

They have great writers and a history of high culture (music and ballet)just like the West. Why, heck, the Christmas ritual of the Nutcracker ballet was first performed in Saint Petersburg and was composed by the Russian composer Tchaikovsky.

I believe they view this war as a war of attrition -- not territory expansion yet. They are consistently destroying the Ukie and NATO military. Their tactics seem to be to dig in and draw the Ukies into advancing on their positions and killing them. You know, like one of the major strategies that Genghis Kahn used to grow his empire -- as well as many other successful military groups have done as well.

The strategy sure seems to be working 'cause Zelsnsky goes out every day and begs for more equipment, brags about major offensives and accomplishments that never happen, and pulls people off the street for conscription to die as cannon fodder.

It may look like a stalemate 'cause that's pretty much what it is; they are keeping their advancement powder draw all while destroying their enemy's men and equipment. And we're drawn into quicksand -like we were in Vietnam, Iraq, Aftanastain, and Syria.

...what do you propose we do? The Republicans barely control the House and do not have the will to challenge the government as it exists.

Frankly, I'm not sure I'm smart enough to develop a fix. The ideal fix would be that someone like Trump takes over and is allowed to govern -- but that's a stretch.

In my humble opinion, it will/must get worse before it gets better. Once the masses turn their attention to what really matters (their survival and their children's survival), they MAY take action. Otherwise, we are in a "heap of trouble."
