I know democrats want to dictate to the U.S forever, even if it's under a different name every 4 or 8 years. But, we don't have a president for life; not yet. ----------------------------------

Neither does Russia. This is Putin's second term as president and under the constitution, his last.

Who were the opposing candidates, and where are they now? How long is term in the presidency? What other political parties are there in Russia? By what percentage did Putin win election and re-election? Could Putin ever lose an election?
