Video at the link.
did he ASK for a meeting before driving an hour and a half?
What a jerk. Well thanks, bye.
You probably say more to strangers coming to your front door unannounced. DeSantis is a piece of chit.
Well, he did get a chance to see DeSantis, just like he had hoped.
Now, if he had wanted an opportunity to speak with him, he should have said so.
The difference is that Trump would have paused and actually talked to the guy a few minutes.
I guess that with DeSantis people have to schedule a meeting to talk to him. At least that is what you are saying.
Miguel’s profile says he’s 100% MAGA. I doubt he drove an hour because he wanted to give DeSantis a fair hearing.
So many excuses, so little time.
Well the guy wouldn’t have gotten a hearing anyway.
Just the reason Meatball can’t connect.
Miguel is just the person who posted this on Twitter. It isn’t he that drove to see The Meatball.
So what shouted have done. If they were in SD it’s an hour anywhere from anywhere.
I’m not sure what he was expecting. This was a campaign stop not a sit down meeting.
I think just walking up and saying “I drove an hour to see you” is not an invitation for a long conversation when there is a crowd of people there.
What did he expect? He was going to drop everything and talk with the guy? I suspect Trump might have, too. But It’s not necessarily wrong what happened.
I am a Trump supporter. I just don’t see this as a dig worthy of news on DeSantis.
My point exactly
DeSantis obviously did a poor job here. I’m not going to hate on him for it but it seems he has a lot to learn before he’s ready to make a national run.
I take back my criticism he didn’t just say thanks he said then, thanks for doing that, and it also sounded like he was going to say more before the video was cut off.
Campaigning for the presidency is a learning experience, and few candidates get it right the first time around. Reagan didn’t. Neither did Trump. Maybe 2024 isn’t DeSantis’ time, we will see when votes are finally cast. But it will be useful experience for the future, as their failed earlier presidential campaigns were for Reagan and Trump.
"Okay, thanks."
No he didn’t, he walked away. LOL
