The U.S. Marshals Service last year arrested three men accused of fatally beating 17-year-old high school student Ethan Liming to death outside the school founded by LeBron James in June.
The three men beat Liming to death and later bragged about it to friends.
According to reports, Ethan Liming, whose father is a pastor, tried to calm the situation in the parking lot when he got jumped and hit in the head from behind. The suspects broke his neck.

What you are saying is that they were looking for trouble and they found it.
What the Prosecutor is saying is that they is that they will keep charging them and trying them until they get a guilty verdict. They never heard of that thing called the Constitution or Double Jeopardy have they?
Yes they do. Along with the jury and the Judge for not setting aside the verdict and issuing a conviction on the most serious charge.

Now, if Ethan was just driving by or walking by and they jumped him with the same outcome, I’d be screaming for blood.
I’m sure Ethan and his friends thought it was all just a stupid prank. Had things not escalated, it would have been. But even after his own friends testified, it was revealed that he and his friends started it. Further, why did they get out of the car?
Trouble definitely found them and now a silly boy is dead, a family suffered an irreplaceable loss, and two other young men are going to jail.
Let’s review the facts:
Ethan and his friends were driving stoned.
They attacked, without provocation, a group of people at night that they didn’t know.
They got out of their vehicle to engage in a physical altercation.
At every phase, they were in the wrong.
If you think this behavior is normal or innocent, you have a screw loose.
They intended to give him a justifiable ass whooping. They did not intend to kill him. They were convicted of aggravated assault and will do jail time.
The sentence is just.
