There was a time when a person lived their lived by a moral code day in and day out based on their relationship with God. Their political choice grew from living a moral life and their natural political choice was conservative. At one time Conservatives and Conservative politicians were thought leaders coming up with innovative policy ideas. Today politicians are simply in it for themselves and simply tell their constituents what they want to hear and put up a good show.
Today those who even bother with politics are like sports fans, their team can never do wrong, and the other guys are always wrong.
I often think the baby boom generation is a total failure. We did not leave the same country our parents left us to our kids. Thank God we will have died off in a few years and I pray that the kids can try to build back the country we destroyed.
It’s only going to get worse.
