imho, DeSantis had some positive things to contribute but running for Prez instead of VP was a mistake when we have a POTUS seeing re-election and leading in all the polls.
Anyway I am not a political genius. I would expect DeSantis to return in future and maybe even run again in 2028
Winning the general election is a different story altogether, and something I wish more people would remember is the ultimate goal.
I'm not very enthused about the two leading candidates, for a number of reasons.
To his credit DeSantis has been an excellent governor.
His campaign is sorely lacking. This is why we have primaries.
Yes he should have waited for 2028, that is if we make it that far.
I liked him for 2028, too, but I think he is destroying himself.
