The ultimate goal isn’t to win the general election. It’s to destroy the deep state and restore the Republic. Trump is the only one even fighting. That might be the difference between a Trump voter and the others. Trump voters understand that point very well.

You’ve got a serious problem. No one here wants to Trump dead. However, he is mortal and not a spring chicken. We have to be prepared for all possibilities, which is why shredding the candidate who is one of the best of the lot is counterintuitive.
It's a good thing he has the large Republican majority in the Florida State Legislature to help him look good. Otherwise, he'd be a nobody. As it is, he has to wear clothing with his name on it, so people know who he is.
