You spend more of your time on here complaining about DeSantis, Ramaswamy, etc. than you do talking about truly evil, hateful Demoocrats. I don’t grasp it. I’ve said a million timesĺ- any criticisms I make of Trump, DeSantis and others is because I want a candidate who looks for ways to improve & win people over and is open to pivoting to the next issue if something isn’t catching on. I’d like our nominee to win elections because we are sitting on the edge of something even more awful than what we are experiencing now. With Each passing day, we are waking up to headlines:
*New Mexico puts temporary ban on concealed carry
*Biden looking to hold illegal immigrants in Texas
*Court forcing Florida to redraw political map
*Grand jury seeks to indict more Republicans
*Democrats actively attempting to push Thomas & Alito off court
All you & others seem animated about is a factional turf war in the Republican Party. It’s like everything is burning down around us & looters are rioting and threatening everyone & yall are arguing about whether we should call the fireman or the policeman first. We will not succeed in electing Donald Trump alone either. He can’t change laws or do the things we need him to do all by himself. We need Senators & Representatives & Governors to help whoever gets the nomination (probably Trump). But if we don’t stop attacking people on our own side, then we are going to cause the loss of all the elections. For the life of me, I can not wrap my head around how there are so many folks who see a candidate that agrees with your inclinations 90% of the time as being no different than a Democrat who agrees with you 0% of the time. It’s literally gotten to the point that yall are accusing anybody who isn’t Donald Trump of being part of the establishment & I’m sorry but that is insane! I mean, do I always prefer the 100% guy? Yeah, naturally, but I don’t see the 90%er as the enemy. I know the Democrats are the enemy. You could win over the 90%ers too! If you tried, but it seems like that is too much work for yall. This whole intramural turf war spectacle on the right is depressing. Yall need to wake the fuck up! 🤬
You can't even keep your members straight. I like Ramaswamy.
But, YES, the Republican establishment is AS MUCH the enemy as Democrats. It was absolutely complicit in rigging the 2020 election, the governor's race in Arizona last year and screwing over Palin and Tshibaka in Alaska. It is complicit in the criminal charges against Trump.
We have the equivalent of an oligarchy where GOP donors buy politicians and thwart what the base wants. Trump is the only candidate that has and can win that is independent of the uniparty establishment.
Instead of attacking me, you need to wake up to what the hell is going on.
There are TWO Holy Grails of the Swamp -- open borders and neocon foreign policy, which is nothing more than modern-day imperialism. That's how both the political elite and their financial backers make $$$. It's globalism by another name. And, it always means putting their own self-interest ahead of this country, Americans and conservatives.
Wake the hell up.
And why the hell do you think that is? It's because the GOP is as corrupt as the Democrats. It's because people who say they are Conservatives will hold their nose and vote for a bad Republican just to keep the seat Republican, thus perpetuating the stupidity of electing Rinos. It's because Congressional Republicans think it's more important to go along with the Democrats to get along, stabbing their constituents in the back without a side-long glance. It's because of wide-spread, uncontrolled election fraud, which the Republican Party hasn't done a god-damned thing about in the past 23 years...haven't even mentioned it, since Gore tried to steal the 2000 election.
The system has been corrupt for so long without anyone doing anything about it, that at this point, I doubt anything will ever change in what time I have left. I'm 76, and if I'm lucky enough to be alive next November, I will vote for Donald Trump a third time. If he isn't on the ballot, I will write him in. I will defy the uni-party every fricking day I have left on this earth. If there isn't a viable Republican candidate in 28 to vote for, and I'm still alive, I'm going to write Donald Trump's name on the ballot, even if he's dead. After 40+ years, I am no longer a registered Republican. After January 6th, I changed my registration to "no party," and that is where I will stay until the day I die. The only time the Republican Party knows you is when they want your money and your vote. Once they get it, they turn their back on you, and ignore you until the next election cycle rolls around, and then they are back begging for more money and your vote. They are serial abusers, and I refuse to support a party that doesn't even want to try to protect my ballot from voter fraud.
