“It isn’t our war.”
It’s everybody’s war. Because war impacts everyone, whether they want it to or not. To paraphrase an old saying: You may not be interested in war; but war is interested in you.
This is the 21st century; there is no such thing as isolationism anymore: Instant communication and financial transactions, and ballistic missiles and jet travel have rendered isolationism obsolete.
“What the hell is wrong with you?”
Nothing. I am a realist. I don’t live is some Pollyanne world as you do.
“It sure as hell isn’t Elon Musk’s war.”
Well, it is, because he had previously allowed his Starlink system to assist Ukrainian efforts.
“You are supporting a war of cartels.”
I support Ukraine defending itself against an existential threat from a larger and stronger neighbor who invaded without legitimate justification.
But you sound too dim to understand that.
Take 30 minutes out of your time for a lesson.
It is worth it.
