Sounds like demonic people attempting to exercise the power of real demons.
There are only two kingdoms, the Kingdom of our Lord and the earthly kingdom of Satan. As secular psychiatrists are of the latter kingdom, their minds and worldview are of Satan. This doesn't mean they are possessed but certainly influenced and even controlled by evil spirits, so they do the will of evil spirits.
