Agreed. I almost got into a brawl with this dumb@ss woman that walks around the neighborhood with her unleashed dog. One day her dog chased my cat on MY property right into my front courtyard (dog was stopped by the gate). I went out into the street and confronted the woman about her dog, informing her that there’s a leash law, and she lied and claimed it was a “service dog” and didn’t have to be leashed. I told her keep your damn dog out of my yard (or else). If I ever see that “b” again with her unleashed dog... I will deal with her more harshly than just verbally. I love dogs (and have one that stays in my back yard) but I detest irresponsible dog owners.
Yep, people who don’t secure their dogs on a leash deserve everything they get. I have *zero* patience for them.
I hired a trainer because I wanted my german shepherd to walk off leash. He said there’s no dog that should ever be off a leash. Said if someone is walking towards you & trips, your dog may interpret it as an attack. Having the leash allows you to pull the animal off of them without getting your hands near their mouth & possibly getting bit yourself.
