Russia’s idea of how to fight a way is to hunker down into a long battle of attrition. Worked against Hitler and Napoleon, right? Which is what they’ve doing now. Short of convincing Putin to withdraw (they won’t), the Ukrainians are now consigned to throw waves of ground forces against entrenched Russians — and the Russians are willing and able to trade the Ukrainians 2-1 in casualties.
That strategy may work where Russia is defending its own territory and is outfitted by The US or the Brits; it’s not as effective where the outside world lines up behind a country that Russia has invaded.
The Russians are the ones taking the most casualties. I understand the kill ratio is 5-1 against them.
Russians are losing 3X more troops on defense than UA on offense, judging by destroyed vehicle counts.
Just keep killing RuZZian Boys, Day after Day, Month after Month, Year after Year until they leave Ukrainian land.
Eventually they will leave.
