Impeachment of Biden is silly. He merely has somewhat more than 15 months to go. The Senate will not vote to convict regardless of the evidence. Hold back the evidence since the Democrats might make him a candidate again. Keep him a viable candidate so RFK Jr. and Biden will have to fight it out.
The government will have to funded, so pass basic bills to do what is clearly necessary.
I’m not sure what to do with the Trump case funding. I’m pretty sure Jack Smith would work without pay. I know there is nothing to the J6 case. The war plan is undoubtedly insufficient and likely obsolete. Most of the rest probably appeared in the Washington Post in some form.
Many people don’t understand this process. The House impeaches, which is like indicting the person, and then sends the case to the Senate, which holds a “trial.” There is zero chance that the Senate will convict, and then move to remove the President. The Republicans need to fight the President on funding. THAT is their source of power, but they don’t have the fight in them.
