More and more, we are seeing cases where nearly 250 years of historical meaning are being discarded for a "sometimes" interpretation of recent origin.

When given the choice between accepting societally common meanings or rejecting them for recent fad meanings, our institutions are leaning towards the latter.

The first sin recorded in Genesis was the result of Satan changing the meaning or intent/motive of God’s words to fool Eve.

It is my contention that most times, when semantics, changing definitions, or changing rules are used as the weapon, there is EVIL behind it. Disagreement is now hate. Gay is now something besides happy. “Mostly peaceful” demonstrations as cities burn, “Threat to democracy” is anything but... etc.
