At first he blew it off. Then he was a scared puppy. Then he was a vax pusher.
He was not good at this. He let Fauci and Bric lead him around as if he were a tame puppy.
Trump NEVER shut down anything. Governors did. That’s the Constitution. Period.
And what exactly did he do during covid that was so tyrannical ?
A fool would have done better. He believed Xi. He was going to close the tristate area until he learned he couldn’t. He advanced Hydroxychloroquine yet wasn’t treated with it himself. He gave voice to quackery care givers. He pushed through vaxes that in the end were widely rejected for various reasons.
The lockdowns and turning the government over to Fauci.
The mandates were a mistake - but not Trump’s mistake.
Early on in a threat of pandemic you have to trust the world’s leading scientists and plan on worst case scenarios.
No one knew the depths to which Big Pharma and Big Government would sink in order to exploit and fear monger. At first, everyone thought it was a good idea to develop a vaccine.
The fake Covid statistics and mandates were the problem - Trump never faked or mandated anything.
