If it can melt aluminum, it can do wonders not only on the curtain, but the fence holding it up.
Pure aluminum melts at a little over 1200F. If that’s aluminum in the bottom image. If that’s Maui.
I remember when we invaded Panama to get Noriega. There was footage of cars neatly cut in half behind the drivers seat, along with the dead backseat passengers’ legs in two pieces. Sliced right thru at the knee. Looked like a huge acetylene torch cut right through everything including the people.
This car is located at 745 Lahainaluna Rd. There is a youtube video posted by “Hawaii Real Estate” that addresses this burned out car.

You can see this car and the car beside it on Google Maps. If you drop a pin on this address you can see a three year old photo of the cars and the vacant lot. The two cars are visible and surrounded by dry grass. The strange thing about these burned cars is that all of the houses surrounding this lot are not burned. Something caused some incredible heat that burned these cars up. IMHO, I don’t think that burning grass could burn these cars like this.
The aerial maps of Lahaina currently being shown by Google Maps were made after the fire. You can see the burned area of the whole community.
