Attack On Europe: Documenting Russian Equipment Losses During The 2022 Russian Invasion Of Ukraine
ORYX ^ | Since February 24, 2022 and daily | ORYX

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then lost in service with its new owners, it is only added as a loss of the original operator to avoid double listings. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it's not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

Ten year war? Seriously? At the current burn rate of Ukraine's soldiers, that's not possible. Maybe a stalemate like the Korean War at some point. That or the defeat of Ukraine by Russia within the next year or so unless, of course, the usual Western scumbuckets, grifters, criminal neocons and greedheads jigger the situation to start feeding American soldiers into the meatgrinder.

If that horrid possibility becomes a reality, may it be only the children of those same scumbuckets, and all those who want US involvement in Ukraine, to be sent there to fight and die for the crap hole, corrupt country they so adore.

I am pretty sure that Germany would restrict any targets in Russia, but it could go a long way toward making Crimea untenable for Russian forces.

There was something I read about the software - it said it is near impossible to decrease the range in software. It is what it is.

The Chancellor was also hesitant about sending them because of that problem. So either they found a solution or will have some sort of written agreement not to use them on Mother Russia.

“There are no potatoes or chin hairs on the moon”

But there are the wrecked remains of the failed Russian Space Program (Luna-25).

Emblematic of the future of Russia, economically and technically, now that gangsters have taken over the Government, and steal everything of value.

USSR population in 1980: 262 MILLION

Afghanistan population in 1980: 12 MILLION.

Which side won the war?

Yep, the invaders lost.

“Q: If both sides continue sustaining similar losses, who’ll run out of meat for the grinder first?”

The nations of the free world who have committed to supporting Ukraine militarily (the 54 nations of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group) have a combined GDP well over 50 times that of Russia, before Putin drove its economy over the cliff, and got Russia to become the most heavily sanctioned country on Earth. They can keep supplying advanced heavy weaponry in perpetuity.

Russia is burning through the gigantic military stockpile it inherited from the Soviet Union, at about ten times their replacement rate. As that runs out, the firepower advantage (and thereby kill ratios) will continue to shift in favor of the Ukrainians.

So the premise “both sides continue sustaining similar losses” is unlikely. In fact the average ratio of casualties has been changing in favor of the Ukrainian forces since the first month of the war.

“Ten year war? Seriously? At the current burn rate of Ukraine’s soldiers, that’s not possible.”

Within the Soviet Union, the casualty rate among Ukrainians was significantly higher than among Russians during WWII. Both dramatically dwarf the level of casualties seen in today’s conflict.

Out of one year’s high school graduating class (year group), only 3 out of 100 Russian boys survived the war.

But the bottom line is that the war is not static, and rates are constantly shifting. It could certainly simmer down to a lower level of intensity, like the years between the 2014 and 2022 invasions. If you count those years, where shooting and artillery strikes continued, the war is nearing ten years already.

The “obviously answer”, which is eluding your scholarly mind, is that Ukrainians would rather live in a destroyed country than again as slaves in the filthy Russian World. Keep working. I’m confident you’ll eventually deduce this simple truth. FRegards.

“So either they found a solution (to range limiting the Taurus Cruise Missiles) or will have some sort of written agreement not to use them on Mother Russia.”

The Ukrainians have proven themselves disciplined, in not having violated such use restrictions on other Western weapons provided, including the similar Storm Shadow and SCALP cruise missiles. They can’t afford to alienate their major arms suppliers and financial donors.

Depending on the quantities supplied(?) and how quickly deliveries begin(?), those Taurus Missiles might be more help to the Ukies than the F-16’s expected to arrive by the end of 2024. Perhaps tho’, the F-16’s will be useful in protecting the planes launching the Taurus? (I’ve not seen anything about F-16’s launching Taurus, but that’s not saying they can’t, or could not with the right adaptations.)

Also, given the range and punch of these babies, it’s hard to see how the US can deny the Ukies ATACMS.

I’m guessing the Russians “can” shoot down Taurus, if they can spot them, but they won’t be able to effectively jam them. A time-on-target attack of a few of these on the Kerch Bridge would be near impossible to stop, and I’m guessing these are plenty accurate to take out bridge supports.

Do you know how many other NATO countries in Europe have similar missiles? (Or have just purchased these?)

It may be “enlightening “, but the fact that Putin did this is as well

Let’s say Russia “wins” , what have they won? Poland alone will have a military many times what Russia has. Russian demographics already horrible are just getting worse by the minute.

Sweden will and Finland is a part of NATO, and NATO is rearming like they never would have done.

Who is going to buy Russian military equipment when, if they “win” it will because they were, as usual, willing to sacrifice the lives of their eastern “brothers “ and not because of their t-90s or their not so uninterceptable missiles

Curious where are the T-14s and the great 57s

Well done master strategist

BTW don’t count your victory yet

“Do you know how many other NATO countries in Europe have similar missiles?” (To the German Taurus)

FtrPilot probably has a better idea of the cruise missile distribution in NATO, than I do. The UK and France have provided similar (but shorter range) Storm Shadow and SCALP cruise missiles.

I would assume that there is a significant variety of cruise missiles in a variety of NATO countries. My understanding is that the ones already given to the Ukraine (like the F-16s they will be getting) have already been made obsolete by more modern replacements.

Spain is the only other user in Europe, and they only have about 50. Germany only purchased about 600, so unless they are going to give all, or at least a large portion of them, missions will be limited by inventory. Ideally, Germany would use their inventory to supply Ukraine while contracting for new Taurus from MDBA/SAAB. Or they can replace the Taurus inventory with the JASSM-ER.

That’s just the Taurus missiles, right?

I was actually asking about all available similar missiles in Europe, but, your info. is a good start!

Hey, BB,

I thought both StormShadow/ Scalp and Taurus had ranges a little over 300 miles (500 km). Correct?

Thanks.

The "filthy Russian World?" Man, your hatred of Russia is insane. What happened to you, did a Russian gal burn you or something? Have you ever visited Russia? Do you know any Russians, or for that matter, Ukrainians? Have you ever worked with Russians and/or Ukrainians?

I'm willing to bet that the vast majority of Russians don't believe their country to be a "filthy world." My common sense belief is that given the FACT that Ukrainians and Russians are basically 'kissing cousins," most Youkes would rather live with running water, electricity, shelter and adequate food with their Russian cousins than in a nation that is being utterly - and pointlessly - wrecked.

I don't care who "wins" as long as Nuland & Co., Biden, the WEF, the UN, the EU leadership and all the leftist/globalist pigs who "support Ukraine" by using it as their private money-making, money laundering, Color Revolution playground are soundly defeated and the gay-dancing midget they installed is deposed and humiliated - or worse.

I want to see no US involvement whatsoever when it comes to that ultra-corrupt crapholes. Not one more cent of US taxpayers' money should be shoveled into that corrupt, Second World pit commonly recognized as Europe's most corrupt nation.

pfft
