Palumbos was THE place to go for previous generations. That and The Latin Casino! (which was neither Latin nor a casino...caused me great childhood confusion!)
And it was in Jerszhey, right? I seem to remember passing it somewhere past the Ben Franklin, near Loehmann's, which is also now defunct. I miss it. Not that I have to dress that nice any more. Other than our chiesa's casual Sunday wear, I mainly go out to cut the grass. The Dylan generation who wouldn't live to see 30 is now pushing 80!
