I don't see him that way at all. He blurts out what he thinks will score him the most points, regardless of the practical implications. And yeah, he's quicker on the draw than the rest. Not sure that worked in his favor last night. He did chill after the first segment - he was starting to look like Bilbo wanting to touch his old Ring.
There's a bushel of guys like Rama leading teams at Accenture with the same dumb grin and cheap patter. I do think he adds interest to the proceedings and is a Fluffer in Chief nonpareil.

Well of course those “bushel of guys” are not assertive enough to run for the highest office in the world and probably don’t have the wealth that VR brings to the table.
Another problem Trump has shown in his first term is the judgment shown in who he has chosen to certain offices. The list of abysmal selections by Trump is very discouraging. Finding a running mate who can better judge the right person for the right job is critical in my opinion to allowing Trump to hold office for a second term.
