The point is the man/woman interface is so much more than simply sex.
Sex is a big part. But there is much more in the creation of a family, and long term intimacy/intertwining relationships.
This is part of the though of playing God... or in this case Gawd. There is extreme hubris at work.

I imagine this would be mostly a First World phenomenon. I often think about how the underdeveloped counties are way behind us in technological developments we just take for granted, and are stuck with burning cow manure to cook and heat, and drawing their water from wells and, in the near future, will be stuck with having sex with other human beings.
