One can judge the elites by their actions. They rejected Trump’s measures, which might or would have worked, such as HCQ and Ivermectin. Democrat big city mayors shunned the Army field hospitals and Navy hospital ships Trump sent in to help. The Democrats and their media called Trump “racist against all Asians” when he wanted a moratorium on Chinese travel to the USA.
The elites pushed freedom robbing non solutions at the same time, such as lockdowns, muzzles, and vaccine mandates. None of those things cured, prevented, or treated covid, or slowed its spread. They made covid a political issue every way they could, even linking it to “climate change” and “systemic racism.” They tried to exempt “people of color” from having to wear muzzles.
Our “betters” even went so far as to openly boast of how they were going to transition from covid lockdowns, to climate lockdowns. Fortunately the Canadian trucker protests, followed by our own Freedom Convoy, put the kibosh on all that. For the time being, anyway...

I translate “conspiracy theorist” as “inconvenient truth teller” any more.

Of course, we all know that conspiracy theorists are kooks. Hillary Clinton held news conferences about a “vast right-wing conspiracy,” but she was never called a conspiracy theorist. “Trump-Putin collusion” sounds like a conspiracy, but apparently was not. It seems like Americans have lost their ability to reason.

I knew they were planning something back during Obummer term. The local news was always sharing reports of an increase in illness’s that could be the start of a “pandemic”.
They just kept dropping that word in every news article they could.
I even made up a song making fun of their “pandemic, of epic proportions, it’s coming your way”!
It was in jest, but low and behold the democRats and the Chinese released a virus to cause the pandemic.
People had become use to the constant warnings telling of future “pandemic” and when they caused it the people were reluctantly expecting it.
Just like a movie script….
So once again the FreeRepublic was 3 years ahead of the curve.
