Most people fail to give these things a second thought- in the name of “convenience” they are bought and sold- same mindset for taking a shot to lose weight or pills for every ailment- easier than putting in the mental and physical effort to get and maintain health. Big THEY have made every aspect of life so difficult and time consuming now (many of us can remember when this wasn’t so), that the populace says YES to any gimmick that promises EASIER and illusion of time saved (more time for ME? and my frivolous pursuits? Heck yeah, count me in!!). They’ll grab 30 seconds of “free time” saved, completely overlooking that they are now more ENSLAVED and controlled. Can’t fix lazy and stupid. Just wonder if they’ll ever wake up and realize there’s no going back, and that they contributed to their own demise.
Yes indeed.
I have NO DOUBT that these scanning systems will be:
A) More Secure
B) More Convenient
C) Faster (Quicker processing of check-out)
D) Reduce Theft
E) Improve Inventory Control and Reordering AND
F) PAVE THE WAY FOR TOTALITARIAN CONTROL OF ONE’S PURCHASES (and TRACKING ONE’S SPENDING HABITS / LOCATIONS)
