Oher is a 37 year old man, retired from the NFL. Why does this family still hold a conservatorship over him?
The better question is why this 37-year-old never attempted to end the conservatorship before. Why is he only complaining now?

For me, the better question is still why this family would want to hold a conservatorship over a middle-aged man. The Tuohys are obviously wealthy and did not need money from Oher's NFL career. Conservatorships are a lot of responsibility - why hold one over a grown man who seems fully competent?
