so the great irony is that they’ve pledged to support a guy who ISN’T going to be on that stage, and if/when they renege, it proves what unprincipled liars they are, and proves that Trump was totally correct to NOT sign such a pledge AND to NOT appear with such a bunch of unprincipled liars!

and a side benefit is that all who renege will have effectively terminated any political career that might have remained to them otherwise ...
