Attack On Europe: Documenting Russian Equipment Losses During The 2022 Russian Invasion Of Ukraine

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it is not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

Wow. Very interesting

“”A senior Russian general [Surovikin] had advance knowledge of Yevgeny Prigozhin’s plans to rebel against Russia’s military leadership, according to U.S. officials ...there are signs that other Russian generals may have also supported Prigozhin’s attempt””

“They say I’m going to look like Arnold Schwarzenegger by the time I get outa here.”

I got steroids for poison ivy once (prednisone), and my neck muscles swole up like a buck in heat. Felt stronger as well. Worked great on the poison ivy. They (and antibiotics) really are miracle drugs.

Glad to hear that you are feeling better. A lot of us offered prayers for your recovery when Chris posted. Please take care of yourself. Your efforts are appreciated and valued.

“A senior Russian general [Surovikin] had advance knowledge of Yevgeny Prigozhin’s plans to rebel against Russia’s military leadership ...other Russian generals may have also supported Prigozhin’s attempt”

A Chinese analyst posits that Wagner has always been Putin’s personal Army, used by him as a counterweight to the institutional Red Army structure, which was difficult for him to dominate completely, because it is so deeply entrenched in the culture and society. (https://twitter.com/ChengWeiLai2/status/1673590385761976320)

“Prigozhin has been Putin’s most loyal servant in the past... Prigozhin could have turned down the hard work and lived a life of luxury and corruption like other Russian oligarchs. But each time he was faithful, he worked hard, and he did the most thankless job of all the oligarchs loyal to Putin. And since April 2022, the Russian war was lost. Prigozhin was ordered to return to Russia from Africa to help in the war. While all the Russian oligarchs are eating and drinking in Moscow or St. Petersburg, Prigozhin is the only one on the front lines.”

"A senior Russian general [Surovikin] had advance knowledge of Yevgeny Prigozhin’s plans to rebel against Russia’s military leadership"

So, maybe that explains the bizarre video of Surovikin in an empty room, telling Wagner to stop while holding an assault rifle, and seeming a little drunk? If Generals at Surovikin's level knew and stayed quiet, it's not like Putin can just "go Stalin" on them.

Funny comment by red neck, far as I can tell except for direct questions to someone like this one that I have asked of many and not received an answer “what is a Ukrainian neo-nazi”, all threads and comments are “unsolicited “
No one is forced to read, post, or reply anything on FR

Had a hilarious back and forth with a Steven Taylor, very similar to what happens on this thread lol
If it matters I agree with beau, speedy I am soliciting your thread and comments

Jim ,
1) glad you are feeling better!

2) You are correct that this is YOUR site and I believe your rules are “anyone can express any political opinion, as long as they discuss it politely and professionally”

3) There have bee more that a few trolls here lately that do not follow that rule- as soon as you disagree they start calling you names- and this has been tolerated by your moderators, for far too long

4) #3 is affecting site readership, and therefore your donations. We respectfully hope you will put an end to as much of that as you can... sometimes it gets as ugly as democrat underground here.

5) “Get to the Choppah!!!”

I am curious if Putin has anything remotely like actual facts that he is making decisions based on.
The fact that Putin is most likely the richest man in the world “leading” a country with a GDP no where near the top of developed countries shows that he is no different from the rest of the corrupt oligarchy.
Like hitler he is convinced of his greatness and brilliance and also like xi, there is no one left around him to tell him otherwise.
I am sure he believes that Ukraine is overrun with neonazis(a term no one has yet defined for me) Ukraine is full of drug users and homos, pot calling kettle black….That Ukrainian was going to welcome Russian troops with flowers, and Russian military was a mighty force.
When he speaks of high Ukrainian loses and low russian loses I am sure he believes that as he has no other reference except for folders handed to him.
GIGO

The Russian then sent several more IFVs who blasted the building where the survivors were hidden, but they in turn were targeted by UA Arty and then the survivors fled back to their lines only to be taken out by Storm-Z troops who thought they were UA attackers.

A real cluster.

No UA troops were harmed.

Noticed in another story how the Russians withdrew to a more “strategic”
Position
Hard to keep all the euphemisms straight

I remember granny from Beverly hillbillies used to refer to Sherman’s march to the sea as Sherman’s retreat to the sea

Hopefully the Ukrainians will soon “retreat” to the sea as well

Marcus: Klishchiivka, Russian VDV paratroopers surrounded.

Klishchiivka is a village in Bakhmut Raion in Donetsk Oblast of eastern Ukraine, at about 57.61 kilometres north by east of the centre of Donetsk city, at about 7.91 kilometres south-southwest of Bakhmut. It belongs to Bakhmut urban hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine.

The google maps link below shows the location:

I wonder if putin has given a "no surrender" order.

“If Generals at Surovikin’s level knew and stayed quiet, it’s not like Putin can just “go Stalin” on them.”

The winds of change are blowing through Moscow, and all the insiders know it. The pressures on the regime keep growing, as the money and military power keep running out.

They are all in a desperate situation, as the personal stakes are high, and the outcomes are so unpredictable - the pressure and paranoia will continue to mount.

Only one thing is certain for Kremlin watchers - we are going to need historic levels of popcorn.
