This should not really surprise anyone, regardless of who we are talking about. As one position I’ve read states, “The very fact that a person is running for office should automatically disqualify them”, or something to that effect.

The problem for DeSanctimonious is that this is his main issue and what he is selling to conservatives to hide his NeoCon / GOP-E / Globalist Foriegn Policy side and also, to try and distance himself from Trump.

This shows he is a total hypocrite on the issue and since it is conservatives he is trying to convince, and they are the most ethical and moral of the voting electorate, he is toast.
