He could not beat a brain dead candidate that never left his basement. One of his hand-picked Senate candidates could not beat a brain dead candidate who could not string together a coherent sentence, and another hand-picked candidate could not even win a red state where the GOP governor won reelection in a landslide.
Trump no longer has any coattails. He is no longer a threat to the swamp.

Don, Jr. had a point today on Newsmax. If Trump were to win in 2024, he would have no constraints like trying to get re-elected or campaigning again... and could and would more focus on what he promised to do his first term...ie drain the swamp. Which is ‘why’ the left is so desperate to keep that from happening.
If I was drafting ball players, I would pick a guy who comes to play over one with more talent that has already taken money to throw games.
