The most important war we’re in is a culture war, and DeSantis is doing a hell of a job fighting it.
Lose that war and you lose the country.
Who better to pay taxes than the buyers of imported goods made by foreign workers. That is the most fair tax of all.
I get really uncomfortable when USA Conservatives attack Free Trade.
Respectfully, I was always a free trader, but we did not have anything close to free trade because of corrupt politicians, outsourcing, insane regulations, and corrupt corporations.
It’s easy to say “free trade” and in principle all of us are for “free” trade, but if we are “free” and they are “foul” it is not “fair” trade.
China (and many other nations) has leveraged us at every turn and our government betrayed us.
DeSantis was done the second he decided to go up against the most loved, respected and revered president in modern American history. He’s basically destroyed his future political chances outside Florida.
This was a colossal mistake on his part.

Tell me, in the decades prior to Trump, as the country went into unrecoverable endless debt spiral, violent open borders with tens of millions flooding in illegally, out of control chain immigration, trade policies that resemble sabotage, policies only an enemy would love, foreign policies that have all but looted our American treasure of many trillions, leaving us nothing death and debt.
