Haiti is my church’s pet project. I can’t tell you how many thousands of dollars they have sent there. They are trying to help educate children, but I wonder how much goes to the children and how much goes into the pockets of the corrupt “leaders”. For that reason, I have never given a penny to this “cause”.
A quick way to judge the scope of corruption: don’t send cash. Send a funded mission bringing their own supplies.
It doubt it would get permission.
