Same here.

I’ve had some personal experiences, too. I’ve been taking 2,000iu vit. D daily (with some fat and a vit. K2) since Oct. 2020. I’ve had a few tests since then just to be sure that I wasn’t overdoing it. My dr. advised, “Maybe cut back on the vit. D. It’s running a little high.” I’ve always come in at squarely 50ng/ml. That’s not even close to ‘high’.

It’s terrible to not be able to value one’s dr’s opinion/advice.

It is terrible, but keep in mind that it’s VERY UNLIKELY that any advice given to you by a doctor is actually from the doctor, rather than from his controllers (employer, hospital, insurance carrier, etc.), and if the doctor disagrees, well, tough, the doctor better stay in line, as we saw during Covid.
