Effective control by leftist investors is a reasonable explanation for Cracker Barrel supporting perversion. I have been to many of these restaurants. The diners hardly look like the denizens of Beverly Hills, the Chicago Gold Coast, or Greenwich, Connecticut. Nor do they look like hipsters from Aspen, Asheville, or Sedona. They are mostly the deplorables from flyover country, where most of the Cracker Barrels are located. Management may be hoping that the “white trash” despised in their corporate headquarters do not notice their LGBQT, etc., support. Restaurants operate on small margins; a boycott would be potentially fatal to the chain.
