That was well said. I am perplexed that so many on FR dismiss trans people by calling them “freaks”.

As Christians, we should not be name-calling someone with a mental illness. It is a tragic situation. We should still be expressing God’s love to these people and helping them. They may tend to behave badly, but that is the case with many people who are experiencing mental distress. It is not up to us to judge these people. Just like it is not expressing God’s love to affirm their current condition as something to celebrate.
