Today, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis traveled to the southern border, where he was met by sheriffs from Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and across the country who conveyed the urgent need to secure the border.
While in Arizona, Governor DeSantis highlighted Florida’s successful actions to combat illegal immigration within the state and along the southern border.

He's sending them where they are asking to go. Why is Florida obligated to keep illegal immigrants who have said they'd rather go to New York or Chicago?
Trump at least was building actual wall, empowering border patrol.
As well as the one whose immigration bill (that DeSantis wisely voted against) included a path to citizenship for 1.8 million of Obama's dreamers.
Is there anything at all Ron has actually done (not just sign papers or talk) to thwart invasion? send them back out of country?
He doesn't have the authority to deport foreigners. Not yet, anyways.
He’s not Reagan thank god. Reagan is the only republican president to grant illegal’s citizenship in history. We’re still paying for his absurdity. The gift that keeps giving.
“If so, then everything he says in public should be considered false.”
Correction, please? At this time when he is getting hammered in the polls, everything he says in public should be considered a campaign promise he isn’t going to be able to accomplish and he knows it.

What were Florida's "successful actions"...to combat illegal immigrants "along the southern border"?
Eisenhower had it right with operation wetback. Unfortunately I don’t think any of the Republicans today have the cajones to do that. Not even Trump.
Trump floated ending birthright citizenship. Trump also did a good job on the cartels and drug criminals.
Dont agree. Actions matter, not words both Trump and Desantis are men of action.
May the biggest toughest alpha male win.
My point is that secret societies are run at the top by satanists, who are too weak and stupid to let the regular members know about their satanism, and that many of them are high level politicians whose oath to their secret group takes precedence over and conflicts with our Constitution.
The only sane people in our country are those who are actively working, or supporting such efforts, to do away with high level satanic operatives in political positions.
My question is, why didn’t he do this when he was a member of Congress, or during his first term as Governor? Neither office would have stopped him from doing this. The Republicans controlled the House of Representatives the whole time he was in office, and he’s had a 2-1 Republican majority in both Florida Houses since being elected. He was free to propose this at any time. As Governor, he could have organized this group with other Governors around the country. Why didn’t he? It makes him look like he’s pandering to impress people, which he is. He’s a day late, and a dollar short as far as I’m concerned.
Wasn’t 87 about homos/homo marriage?
According to Coulter, the question of Birthright Citizenship, in it’s current form has never been challenged in court. At least in the modern era.
And I do not care what anyone’s feelings about her, with regard to my comment.
However, the guy that wrote the amendment and established it, Sen Howard, specifically mentions ‘aliens’ as those not being allowed to get it.
The other day, after Pres Trump mentioned it, CNN had a guy on that stated that he was the recipient of it. He mentions that his parents were green card holders. Meaning that they were under the jurisdiction of the United States.
So, they toss up some hispanic guy, as if he’s an SME on the subject, who runs his suck and neither he nor the host of the show(Bash?) knows what they’re talking about. But, neither do the 4 or 5 people watching the show. All they saw was a hispanic guy that was born in the US and became a citizen.
I’m thinking that in his second term, he felt that he was going to get at least one more SCOTUS pick, thus, being able to cancel out any chicanery from Roberts, and that he was going to go after it. If he did and won, illegal immigration as we’ve come to know it, stops in a day. No reason for any of them to come here. No more government gravy train and family reunification.
The porous border has never ever been this bad. How many governors even care? At least he does...
In order for the military to engage with deadly force on the border, someone or Congress is going to have to decommission or suspend Posse Comitatus.

You may be correct on that point but I find it hard to believe that these alien hordes could not be repelled by the military if ordered to do so by the Commander-in-Chief because such intervention is not simply a matter of civilian law enforcement. The borders of our country are controlled by the CBP under authority of the Immigration and Nationality Act 287(a)(3) and copied in 8 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 287 (a)(3).
