The NBC/WSJ poll measured 16 GOP candidates in our horserace question. And here are the 10 Republicans who make our poll’s Top 10 — the criteria being used for the first GOP debate in August — and the six who get left off:

My apologies. It wasn’t till later that summer that he took the lead. Once he had the lead, he never relinquished it. You might be able to find an outlier poll here or there if you want to quibble (which is one of your favorite past times), but no one seriously challenged Trump once he took the lead.
Golden Eagle, I gave you too much credit. I should have known better than to assume you were sharing a reputable poll with me. I see now that it’s an MSNBC poll from June of 2015. Talk about scraping the bottom of the barrel!
