The voters who pushed Trump over the top in WI, MI and PA were not Republicans. Get that through your heads. They were Obama voters and they switched not to GOP, and not to Trump. They switched to Drain the Swamp and Build the Wall.
DeSantis cannot tap into that because he’s GOPe and his donor base would abandon him, because donors do not want the Swamp drained. They ARE the Swamp.
This is not rocket science, guys. This is about hatred of the status quo, and that status quo is not defined by Biden and Democrats. It is defined by the Swamp.
Upheaval is sought. A desire for upheaval is what elected Trump. DeSantis doesn’t want upheaval and the voters know it.
