This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it is not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

7.0 earthquake Caracas 2018. See all those people scurrying about? Any of them look like they came out of Auschwitz?
No. They don’t look emaciated at all.
There is a reason for that. They were not starving.
The propaganda in the world today is worse than any I have seen in decades, and it’s mostly our own.
“A thriving oil industry in Russia guarantees nothing more or less than opulent prosperity for oligarchs and powerful politicians.”
They say “oil is a dirty business”, because there is generally so much corruption of local politicians involved.
But even by those standards, Russian politicians and their oligarch cronies skim an excessive percentage. Much of Putin’s personal $200 billion fortune came from there, and his is only one hand of many at the top skimming huge cuts.
Russian mega-yachts make little traffic jams at times off the South of France.
Russia would be very different today, if their oil income had been managed like Norway’s over the last 20 years.
Turkish runoff election this Sunday. Erdogan favored to win.
Erdogan controls the press, and smeared his opponent as “not a good enough muslim” (he’s an Alevi), and as soft on terrorism.
Still falling too. And Europe is wisely buying while it’s cheap. Not even 2 months out of “heating season” and storage is already at 68% capacity, which should decrease price volatility. If they would just embrace nuclear energy, they could be much more independent.

Finland recently turned on their new Nuclear Power Plant, Olkiluoto 3.
After the start-up of Olkiluoto 3, (electricity) power prices in Finland saw a 75% plunge between December 2022 and April 2023.
Last Wednesday (24 May), Finnish electricity prices briefly swung below zero, into negative territory, amid surging hydroelectric power (heavy Spring rains), new nuclear reactors online, and an influx of solar and wind capacity additions.

Poland now has a kind of heavily funded crash program to build nuclear power plants, but that is a multi-year effort.

“a huge ship sailing the Baltic with what he said were munitions and heavy equipment bound for Ukraine.
The Baltic Sea is outside of the conflict area, and the ships and contents are not Ukrainian (even if they will be soon). If Russia attacked them, it would be an act of war by Russia.
There has been a lot of open source reporting of American ships sailing out of Charleston or Norfolk, loaded with Bradley Fighting Vehicles and Artillery shells, and unloading in Germany or Poland, on their way to the Ukraine. It has been going on for more than a year. Until the gear is in Ukrainian territory, Russia dare not touch them.
They dare not.
There would be Hell to pay.
Did the counteroffensive start yet?
It could be tomorrow, it could be a month from now.
But I really doubt that we will have to wait two months.
Just waiting for the GLSDBs to swarm alone is making me anxious.

The Belarusian opposition reports that Lukashenko’s health has taken a turn for the worse again after a closed-door meeting with Putin.
They say he has been transported to a hospital in Moscow.
(Could this be a previously undiagnosed tea allergy? Was there an open window meeting, after the closed door one?)
Belarus may turn into the flashpoint, will Poland just allow Russian tanks to move into Belarus up to their border?
70th Anniversary in 3 weeks:
Rosenbergs go silently to electric chair
JUNE 20, 1953
The United States had exacted full payment today from Julius and Ethel Rosenberg for the atomic age betrayal of their country.

“will Poland just allow Russian tanks to move into Belarus up to their border?”
When the “Russian Volunteer Corps” and “Free Russia” units crossed from Ukraine into Russia’s Belgorod Oblast recently, Some Polish officials anticipated similar “uprisings” within Belarus. Putin started using the “Little Green Men” tactic, and turnabout is fair play.
Free Belarus!
will Poland just allow Russian tanks to move into Belarus up to their border?
—
both of them?
I remember that business - it was so shocking - now days most people would not be shocked, but back then it was a sledgehammer-to-the-gut feeling.
“Rosenbergs go silently to electric chair”
When the Soviet archives were opened after the fall of the Soviet Union, it showed that the Rosenbergs were guilty as charged.
The 70th anniversary of the execution of the Rosenbergs will be a day of mourning for the Putinistas.

The head of Poland’s ruling Law & Justice party, Jarosław Kaczyński, is visiting the border fence with Belarus
He said: 1. Belarus has weaponized migration. 2. The border fence is crucial. 3. Poland will refuse the EU’s plans on introducing mandatory migrant quotas for all states.
