Attack On Europe: Documenting Russian Equipment Losses During The 2022 Russian Invasion Of Ukraine
ORYX ^ | Since February 24, 2022 and daily | ORYX

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Small arms, ATGMs, MANPADS, loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles, trailers and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it is not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

Speedy and speedy PIF,
as Freepers have oft read,
Post and post for each other's
Tasty, daily bread.
It's entertainment now;
They seem quite crossbred.
Rather like Stijn and Joost,
Dutchmen I have read,
That Speedy speeds to post
Atop the daily thread.
Buy their book, pay Patreon,
As they have pled and pled,
As Bellingcat and Janes are these,
Those, the aforesaid,
Which paint the picture fuller now,
To find the fountainhead.

“Yesterday in the area of the attack site on “Ivan Khurs”, an American drone changed its basic flight course and made a couple of circles over the ship.

I am sure that there is a video from the RQ-4 Global Hawk...”

Refresh my memory - was China Russia’s last “friend”, or is Nicaragua still voting with them?

“You are far removed from reality.”

There are many of us who value this thread, on what is arguably the greatest geostrategic event in the world currently. We have regulars with extensive experience in the Army (like myself, a three time combat veteran), Air Force, Navy, Intelligence Community and possibly Foreign Service; who regularly share news and analysis on this topic. Speedy kicks it off daily with his curated list of links and new developments.

This war is real, and is significantly re-ordering global Military balances, economic flows, energy supplies, and Diplomatic relations. If you are not interested in a topic, it is impolite to insult those who are.

(Ivan Khurs) “Reports serious damage to hull and equipment but did not sink.”

One step closer to renaming the Black Sea the South NATO Sea, and the Baltic as the North NATO Sea.

Sevastopol is of little utility as a Naval Base, if ships can’t leave the harbor. F-16s with HARPOONs can see to that.

Also reportedly, the Russian ship just struck in the Black Sea (Ivan Khurs), was there standing guard over Russia’s most active remaining natural gas export pipelines - Turkstream and Bluestream.

They may be preparing to go the way of Nordstream.

“China has decided to build a gas pipeline from Turkmenistan instead of Power of Siberia - 2”

With a pipeline to Turkmenistan, China effectively buys Turkmenistan out of Russia’s sphere of influence. China loses nothing by not building the Russian pipeline, as Russia is already hopelessly dependent on China anyway.

Putin did that.

He is a Master Strategist.

Speedy, are you self aware?

LOL, talking about idiots who are not self aware.

Here's a tip, not interested in a subject, don't open the thread to read it and then spend time to comment negatively, Governor Dimwit.

Looks like Vlad is on his own after all, to overthrow the World order and reinstitute the Dark Age principles of brutal conquest, ruthless subjugation, and theft by the the strong. He was so sure he had a natural ally in like-minded Hitler and the Nazis. Oh, I meant to say Xi and the Chi-coms - that was Stalin’s mistake with the the Nazis. Times change, but Russian despots seem to fall for the same hubris.

ANOTHER ATTACK? A Russian flagged multi-use vessel, 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 (IMO 9340609), is reported to be ‘hove to’ [adrift] in the Black Sea. @FouthTimeLucky reports that UKR sources are reporting that 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 was attacked by UKR Unmanned Surface Vessels. Developing.

@FouthTimeLucky 4h

Some sources in Pravda claiming a UCV strike on a Russian warship roughly 86 nautical miles NE of the Bosporus. That’s just about where this is and she’s still near enough hove to.

And then there is the immortal and official pronouncement by Russian officials yesterday:

“Everything is going according to the Plan.”

Do you have anything better to do than troll and taunt people?

Your post has nothing to do with the topic, and is just an ad hominem attack, like a gradeschooler.

Perhaps the signature phrase of this conflict. A new classic.

“The report details a stockpile of 5.5 million cluster munitions containing about 728.5 million submunitions”

It was Trump who saved these munitions from destruction. They were in the process of being destroyed during the Obama regime, without suitable replacement. Trump halted the destruction and ordered they be maintained until suitable replacement weapons were produced. There are still no suitable replacements. This stockpile includes not only artillery, but 200,000-300,000 M26 rockets for HIMARS/M270, a couple thousand longer range guided M30 rockets, and air dropped weapons.

Neither the USA, Ukraine or Poland are signatories to The Convention on Cluster Munitions, so there is no law against providing with a presidential authorization. The M26 rockets would be devastating.
