NAACP Head Leon Russell lives in Tampa. Tampa does have a few tough 'hoods, College Hill, Sulphur Springs, aka Suitcase City, Ybor City's a little rough around the edges. But compared to what? NYC? LA? 💩cago? Yeah Tampa's run by a liberal lesbian, but she's an improvement over Lori Blightfoot, and her replacement.

Suitcase City is the University Area, which is north of Fowler, the North 22nd St. Sulphur Springs is not Suitcase City. Yes, Sulphur Springs is bad, but it is getting gentrified. Seminole Heights (the home of the two headed Alligator) is nice.

Jane Castor might be a liberal, but Tampa is business friendly. No real left wing nuts on the council. Jane was the police chief a few years ago.
