The Turks were never a good idea.
My Armenian friend agrees. Turks slaughtered millions of Armenians. But that was long ago.
I spent a terrific week traveling around Turkey in the nineties with a Jewish friend.. Almost no veils in Istanbul, people were truly delighted to see Americans. We even found a wonderful little hotel in the Turkish part of town, where we were warmly welcomed as Americans. Took day trips to various cities and in one, I bought a rug from a veiled woman at a rug factory. I’m a woman too. We instinctively liked each other and laughed at our differences as we might have been friends under different circumstances.
And then they elected Erdogan. He expanded the borders of Istanbul to include small pockets of Islamists and the country has gone to hell in a hand basket. I feel sorry for the Turkish people who know better.
Correct.
Was never a good idea.
But it is possible that the Kemalists (there are still many) could make pact with the Kurds and end the Islamist rule of Turkey and the threat to Israel.
The Kemalists are no less dictatorial than the Islamists. The Islamists are insane dictators.
The Kemalists kept the crazies under control until Erdogan came to power.
There are a lot of Kurds in Turkey, some are Muslim, quite a large number of them are not.
The right leader of Turkey could stop all of this insanity.
We will see about that.
BUT our presence in the ME is much reduced under the turd in the bowl in the White House.
I want us out of the ME.
O’Biden is intentionally destroying the USA from within with the help of the ChiCom and Globalists money.
We shall see how that all plays out soon.
I am convinced that the person we see making the Presidents speeches is not always Slo Joe. And that there are more than one playing that game. Much of it could be done by AI virtual reality techniques.
