Pure speculation: they didn’t vote for her, anymore than PA voted for Fetterman or the US voted for Biden. They voted for student loan cancelation, free stuff, and abortion on demand, and against normal marital sex. The biped who promised this was the biped who got elected.

I took a quick look at Cavanaugh‘s Wiki page. She’s the daughter of a well-known Nebraska politician. Maybe that explains how she got elected.
Kinda like how that idiot George W. Bush got elected.
