Yes, I have seen him do this already. Personally, if DeSantis would come out and flatly admit that the last two elections were obviously bogus and ran on a platform of fixing elections I’d be there with him (I’m still voting Trump this go around... but next time!).
One thing that bothers me about DeSantis is that he’s going for it now, in 2024. I think he’s listening to the wrong people.

Very possible. But also, in politics an opportunity may only come once in one’s political lifetime - this may be it for DeSantis - it’s now or never. From 2024 to 2028 ... that’s a long time in politics, lots could change and DeSantis could be forgotten. Politicians aren’t like normal people, they show up and sometimes a miracle happens. I am not seeing a miracle happen for DeSantis in 2024, even if he gets the nomination. He needs the continuing help of snake Garland and the big mouth DA in Manhattan to have a shot ...but how he gets Trump base on board ... that’s his biggest problem. Trump isn’t going away even if Trump is not on the ticket and imprisoned in solitary confinement.
He gets a lot of press and GOPe support now because he is a willing available tool to try to keep Trump off the ticket and then being forced to govern from inside a jail cell. But make no mistake about it, he will be taken out of winning the WH nonetheless if he gets the nomination. If it isn’t through integrated rigged election, media and big tech operations that have been perfected since 2016 (which includes the participation of the feral and local givernment to decide who wins and who doesn’t) ...DeSantis biggest challenge will be how to get millions of Trump voters to come out and support him after their guy lost. The only way I see that happening is if Trump cannot run due to medical reasons and Trump decides his health issue won’t allow him to run.
