No eff’n way. Who do you think carries out the unlawful orders from the bosses? Every field agent is complicit either by following unlawful orders or complicit in his silence, less the very few that are now whistleblowers. And even the whistleblowers probably have followed unlawful orders in the past. They most certainly have been silent for too long since a lot of the things they are saying occurred years ago.
There is a culture problem at the FBI and in many law enforcement organizations. The number one rule for them is to cover each other’s backs no matter what, even when a fellow agent does something illegal. Silence is demanded at a minimum.
All FBI field agents need to be investigated along with every other FBI employee for civil rights abuses against American citizens. Those found involved in wrongdoing should be tried. Those that survive the investigation can seek employment elsewhere. There is no need to invite them anywhere. They must be made an example so this doesn’t happen again. The one thing we do not want is the culture of the FBI infecting other organizations.
The same needs to be done to the ATF and other federal law enforcement organizations at the federal level. Considering the intel community is also involved, they need the same treatment. Additionally, there are a couple dozen or so intel organizations in the federal government. That needs to be pared down. Specifically, investigated, consolidated, defunded and shuttered. Fixed.
Just who in the hell is going to do the "investigating"?
Shut it down by cutting off funds, transfer the criminal division to the US Marshals and close down the doj.
Every fed agency needs whacked by at least 50%, the civil service protection as well as unions for all gummint employees should be abolished, and I need to be king{what the hell, as long as we are pretending...}
