Sources also say “ It should be noted that from July 1, 2023, Ukraine plans to return VAT and excise taxes on fuel, which were canceled in March 2022, to the pre-war level. So, in September 2022, in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 2618-IX, excises in the amount of 100 euros per 1000 liters of gasoline and diesel fuel were returned. But at the same time, VAT remained at the level of 7%.
The second stage is planned from July 1, 2023, when excises will be restored to pre-war levels and the VAT rate returned to 20%. After such changes, the excise tax on gasoline will more than double - to €213, on diesel fuel - by almost 40% - up to €140 per 1000 liters.”

Sounds like Biden- raising taxes to 20 percent on a population that is suffering?

That tax also reduces Ukies food production ( farmers in an uproar), grain crops in Ukraine is to decrease by 16% (from 34.06 to 28.67 million tons).

I will let you dig up the source, or you can continue to listen to western MSM saying how well things are going for the Ukies ( note: Vlad has increased grain exports, shipping grain to African nations for free).

At this rate, starvation is a serious consequence being talked about with most male workforce having been depleted.

Everyday I see a Ukrainian “ path to Victory “ evaporating.
