I don’t see how “reparation” would be Constitutional in the first place.

The state (that has no money of their own) want to tax citizens who had nothing to do with slavery to pay citizens that were never slaves (in this country).

Slavery was prohibited in California as part of the requirement to become a state.

Americans died to end slavery in this nation that should be reparation enough.

Much of the calulation for what you get has little to do with slavery. It is about being black and living a disenfranchised life as a result. That's how they get around proof of slave lineage.
