Ok, Crowder is probably a jerk in real life, most celebrities are. And I wonder if we could have all our moments on video, what people would find. Not excusing his treatment of a pregnant wife. But yes, sometimes marriages are affected when one achieves success, see “The Founder” about Ray Kroc for a perfect example.
Crowder’s problem though is his audience expects more from the folks who claim to represent them. What he does affects peoples’ perceptions of conservatives, and that is what he is failing to acknowledge, which makes me question his intentions. Does he just see this as a way to get rich? Or is this what he truly believes? His actions suggest the former. And that’s why as of now I have a problem with him, as a former fan.
I recently defended Crowder here over his Downs Syndrome Barbie piece which was politically correct. On the thread someone shared a link to the ring video of him berating his now ex-wife.
