AS it was with the VP at Busch, the desire wasn’t to sell more beer, but to sell and support a certain culture. As it is with whoever set this up in the Navy, the desire is not to support or improve the Navy, it is to sell and support a certain culture. The damage done to the existing culture is a feature, not a bug. And I expect the same or similar results for Navy recruiting that the VP achieved for Bud’s sales. Anheuser was able to at least make a partial correction because...profit. But since the guy at the top, Biden, isn’t concerned with profit but instead with the culture, there will be no correction until two years into the next presidency, assuming we get a better president.
