I used to wonder how the Nazis could get people to just walk into the boxcars, with everyone knowing that it was a one way trip.
I haven’t wondered about how that could happen for about a decade. Looks like I am a blessed man in the time and place of my birth — there was infrastructure built out for the folks 5-15 years older than me, which meant I had surplus. And I probably will check out before offing people like me becomes national policy. Blessed.
We were definitely born in the ‘sweet spot’.
It behooves everyone to be ready for eternity.
We all die eventually anyways. However, in light of the situation these days when there are people actively working to make that happen for us unwashed, the best prep is being right with God.
The powers that be can take a lot from us, but they cannot take our relationship with God from us. And once we’re dead, then we really begin to live and they can NEVER touch us again.
