I would worry about resupply logistics, but it would be a daring move.

It would be possible somewhere along the dneiper if they had the pontoon bridges AND the ability to protect the pontoon bridges from missle attacks. Plus they would want to place anti missle batteries around the dam. ...I don’t know. Might not be a good idea to give the Russians a logical reason to blow the dam.

Agreed, a pontoon bridge would become a target. Of course, the Ruskies were able to use ferries for resupply. The Ukies could do the same, as they are more mobile and harder to target.
