...they cackled at his badly read jokes (sometimes having to fight the teleprompter to get them out). He was laughing at them. The president sees the press as a subservient class of pawns that exist simply to prop him up amidst his failures.That would be bad enough, but what makes it so much worse is that members of the press happily play their part.

I was awestruck. He talked about a FREE PRESS. But none of the Press Corps could openly ask about Hunter’s Laptop, and no one dared call him out about the 51 FBI people that Blinken ordered to lie.
The press covers his behind, they are an incestuous group. They support each other, and keep the American Electorate in the dark. Just like they want.
